GENUINE PMRAFNS UNIFORM This is a lovely and a rare example of a WW2 uniform jacket and skirt and original tie for a lady serving with Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service. Named to Miss D Thomas. Has the colloar badges. As you can see there are a couple of small moth holes one on the collar and one on the shoulder Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service had existed since 1918, but it was not until 1923 that the title was adopted. In 1941 they aquired armed forces status. This lady was a Sister and the equivelent rank in the RAF was a Flying Officer In the RAF blue grey in a Norfolk style / cut, It has two smalll aries of moth one the on the right and one on the left shouder. see photos. It Is small ! the jacket is 34’x24′ and the skirt is 24 waist 36 hip and 26 length
