SG01 WW1 model 1916 camouflage helmet. Complete with original 3 pad liner with horsehair cushions and chinstrap. It is maker stamped ET66. The paint scheme is quite unusual, consisting of the original field grey base with dark green bands from front to rear, separated by thin black dividing lines. There are a plethora of camouflage designs but this particular scheme is one that is rarely seen. One of the white leather liner pads is inscribed with the soldiers details, part of which can be made out. Unterffzr ….Bayr Pion Nr 6 which denotes this soldier was a Corporal in the Bavarian 6th Pioneer Regiment
