Interior brim with its turned back chinstrap lug , holding part of its webbing chinstrap with large brass securing mount . Interior black treated linen sweatband . Second pattern cruciform crown pad .liner cradle bears a clear 1939 date with ‘B.M.B’ maker . Exterior finish with some pitting, minor dents and with a dark brown patina .Typical helmet for the early Battle of France Dunkirk period
