Description
Amazing ‘been-there’ M35 army camouflage helmet. Started as a Luftwaffe single decal helmet. The eagle decal is propably still hidden under the paint. The tan colored camo paint is rough and thick applied, mix with wood chips, it was spray painted with green stripes afterwards. The paint shows lots of wear, especially on top. The liner is original to the helmet. The leather is a bit dry but remains complete. The split pins are dusty and remain unmessed with. Some white ‘garage paint’ is spilled on top, typical feature of helmets sourced from USA. Maker marked on the side by Q (Quist), size 66. Lot number 124. Beautiful ‘been there’ two tone army camouflage helmet!
