Description
Very nice and light worn 1939 produced black SS dagger. Blade remains in stunning condition, showing light runner marks. The motto is firmly present on the front. The rear is marked with manufacturer mark RZM 1198/39 SS which is the code for SMF (Solinger Metallwarenfabrik Stoecker & Co.). Black ebony grip in good conditon with original eagle and SS pastille. Both show nice aging and patina. Scabbard in original black coating, shows wear, especially on te reverse where it rubbed against the trousers. Plated fittings nice an intact, screws all present and untouched. Comes with an original hanger marked SS 19/38 RZM, lost some of its black coating, with brown leather color peaking through. A very nice untouched SS dagger that has that X-factor look to it.
