A non portable Luftwaffe Technical Award complete with its presentation case Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse with a leftward-facing profile of Hermann Goring, surrounded by an inscription of DER OBERBEFEHLSHABER DER LUFTWAFFE, REICHSMARSCHALL HERMANN GORING (THE SUPREME COMMANDER OF THE LUFTWAFFE, MARSHALL OF THE REICH HERMANN GORING), the reverse with a central Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile Swastika, surrounded by an inscription of FUR AUSGEZEICHNETE LEISTUNGEN IM TECHNISCHEN DIENST DER LUFTWAFFE (FOR OUTSTANDING MERIT IN THE SERVICE OF THE LUFTWAFFE) Non-maker marked it measures 75 mm in diameter and is in very good condition. The presentation case is constructed in wood with an faux leather covering, grey velvet insert with a circular recess for the award and a silk/rayon padded inner lid. Very good condition but with the silk separator split revealing the hinge.
