Early constructed desirable and seldom seen white topped Luftwaffe summer visor cap in good condition. The cap is complete with its removable white top. This was intended so it could be washed when dirty. The cap still has its genuine early aluminum insignia pierced on the front (one prong of the eagle is missing). The best thing is of course that the liner is complete, as this is most of the times missing because it was removed by the soldiers back then for the heat. The sweat diamond is maker marked by Clemens Wagner. The white top only show small storage stains, that could be washed away if wanted. But I like to keep the items untouched, as this very good looking cap. The piping is orange/brown, intended for signals troops called ‘Nachrichten’ – and actually a very hard to find branch color in these summer caps! A stunning highly sought after cap!
