Description
DJ (Deutsche Jungvolk) buckle. The DJ was the young branch of the Hitler-Jugend, for boys from ten to fourteen years old. The Sigrune was the official emblem of the DJ, it was used on the DJ Box belt buckles from 1933 until 1936 when the HJ buckle began to take over. In 1938 production of the DJ (Sigrune) belt buckle was discontinued altogether. The nickel/silver plated buckle shows an embossed ‘Sigrune’ in natural brass. The buckle is a nice variant which is nicely marked with ‘RZM 59′.
