Excellent condition unmarked 1939 EKII with a frosted and burnished silver plated neusilber frame and a black finished magnetic iron core. A lot of the original finish is intact with minor age patina. The Cross is housed in a not often seen private purchase case. The case is of a light wood or compressed cardboard construction with a blue textured material covering. Slight foxing and storage marks to the exterior. The interior is of grey velvet with a shaped recess for the Cross. In the upper lid a piece of 1939 EKII ribbon has been neatly fitted. The base is angled slightly for better display of the Cross, it also can be removed using the attached pull tab to reveal a compartment for storage of ribbon or other EK related accessories eg. stickpins etc. A small piece of original EKII ribbon is within. Scarce cased set.
