1914 Iron Cross Second Class by Klein und Quenzer with Austrian Trifold ribbon in a private purchase display case. Early Imperial EKII manufactured with a government standard unmarked 938 grade silver frame and a black finished magnetic die struck iron core. Heavy age patina to frame and light wear to the core. The ribbon ring is stamped with the makers details K.O (Klein und Quenzer of Oberstein). The private purchase case is black textured leatherette covered light wood with a red velvet base and upper. The base is fitted for the Cross and contained loosely in the case is an Austrian Trifold ribbon. The Medal, Ribbon and Case are in very good overall condition.
