SG02 A very rarely encountered item of WW1 Austro-Hungarian headgear, being an Austrian artillery officers summer weight visorless cap. The cloth is in a light grey wool with off yellow lining. The bullion embroidered rosette features the monogram FJ1 – for Franz Josef I. Below that are two black composite buttons bearing the artillery symbol. The lining has the partially visible handwritten officers details. Only Leut (for Leutenant) and the regimental number 3 are now visible.
