RNAS Named Flying Gauntlets in Gloves

Typical of the privately purchased Gauntlets worn by both British and Commonwealth RFC and RNAS Pilots and Gunners during WW1, this particular pair are named to P.F.O. Wooster of the Royal Naval Air Service. Backed with sheep’s wool and with a leather palm the gauntlet section is lined in leather, the glove in brushed wool. Overall condition is very good, the full without loss.
