Description
Light worn and very desirable M40 police helmet with both decals over 95% intact showing sharp decals. Very unusual to find a police helmet made by ET. This helmet has the textbook ET-style decals, not having a silver boarder. The liner has steel band in very good condition and is dated 1940 (I deem!). The leather is still strong. The draw string is period replaced by a leather shoe string. Comes with a desirable early full length chin strap. The buckle part shows a subtle repair. Liner is named to Dosch. Maker marked shell by ET64 and lot number 881. Very desirable M40 ‘Polizei’ helmet!!
